JCOC is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant. The position is Monday -Friday from 8am-5pm and reports directly to the Development Director. Position includes medical and dental benefits along with paid vacation leave. Duties and tasks include but are not limited to: meet, greet and direct clients and visitors, answer phone calls and and transfer to appropriate staff member, create and modify documents using Microsoft Office, manage, maintain and track waiting list for potential residents, attend monthly staff meetings to maintain minutes, manage community service and volunteer hours, perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing. Position is also responsible for inputting donor and volunteer specifics into Donor Perfect database to manage information. This position will also assist with fundraisers and events. High school diploma or equivalent is required but college degree preferred. Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant software applications. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 45 wpm. Experience working with non-profit organizations is a plus.
