One of the most rewarding experiences JCOC’s clients have after facing homelessness, is moving into a new apartment or house. What a blessing it is to have a place to call your own, a new beginning, a fresh start.
However, for many of our clients, turning this new space into a home can be a challenge. Imagine not having the basics like a set of dishes, silverware, towels and cleaning supplies. That’s where you and JCOC’s Welcome Home Baskets come in!
We invite you, faith-based organizations, businesses, families, and groups of friends to go shopping and put together one or several Welcome Home Baskets! Over the last 12 months, 52 clients thankfully received this gift as they moved from homelessness to housing. Over the next 12 months, we need 100 Welcome Home Baskets. How will you help?
Welcome Home Baskets are made up of the following new or gently used items:
Laundry Basket
Dinnerware, 4-piece set
Kitchen Utensils, 4-piece set
