Community Dinner

Monday-Friday: 5:00 PM
Saturday-Sunday, and holidays: 2:00 PM

Those who are homeless or struggling with food insecurity are welcome to pick up a To Go Meal every day. Volunteer groups prepare and serve a free, nutritious meal to hungry and homeless individuals. An average of 75 people come to each dinner.

More than 100 volunteer organizations provide, prepare and serve the meal.

An Annual Sign-Up Dinner is held each Fall. All participating organizations pick their dates for serving the meal for the following year. If your organization would like to help out in this way, please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Krishna Loya at (757) 491-2846, ext. 102 or kloya@jcoc.org.

FOOD PANTRY AND FAMILY FOOD BOXES

JCOC’s feeding programs prevent homelessness by helping hungry individuals and families with meals and groceries. This helps them be able to pay for other living expenses.
