Court-Ordered Community Service
We feel that everyone deserves a second chance. JCOC offers those convicted of non-violent offenses to complete their court-ordered community service obligations by assisting our staff with the following duties. This enriching experience not only helps you, but helps those in need in our community.
Dining Hall & Kitchen: Clean, take out trash, prepare and serve meals to our residents and the community
Food Pantry: Unload, sort and distribute food to the community
Donations: Sort and organize clothing, toiletry and household item donations
Janitorial: Clean inside of buildings and around campus, wash windows, pick up trash, rake leaves, etc.
Community service hours are available during the days and times listed:
Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM-7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM-4:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 AM-4:00 PM
Prior to beginning Community Service, individuals will need to attend a Community Service Orientation. At this time, orientations are on hold due to COVID-19. To be notified when they resume, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Krishna Loya at email@example.com or (757) 491-2846, ext. 102.
