Court-Ordered Community Service
We feel that everyone deserves a second chance. JCOC offers those convicted of non-violent offenses to complete their court-ordered community service obligations by assisting our staff with the following duties. This enriching experience not only helps you, but helps those in need in our community.
Community Dinner: Assist with set-up, preparing and serving the meal, and clean-up.
Food Pantry: Distribute food to the community. Assist with maintaining order in parking lot.
Donations: Sort and organize clothing, toiletry and food donations.
Campus Cleanup: Clean inside buildings and around campus, pick up trash, rake leaves, etc.
Community service hours are available during the days and times listed:
Monday: 4:30-6:45 pm | Friday: 4:30-6:45 pm |
Tuesday: 4:30-6:45 pm | Saturday: 9:30 am-12:30 pm and 1:30-3:45 pm |
Wednesday: 4:30-6:45 pm | Sunday: 1:30-3:45 pm |
Thursday: 4:30-6:45 pm |
Prior to beginning Community Service, individuals will need to attend a Community Service Orientation. They are held the third Thursday of each month from 2:00-3:00 pm. You must register to attend.
